The Lost Art Of Beautiful Girls

(2017)

God?

Mercy..

! Blood!!!!

Mercy.

I call mercy.

It’s not right she cried.

Hold me.

Mine alone.

You want my sister?

Fly Fly!!

The stairs.

I only have faith in you and me.

And the world just washed in white.

What’s secret?

Take me away from here she says as she floats towards the sky.

And the world just washed in white.

I’m not afraid of sixteen.

Don’t let them kill me.

Do you want peace blood?

There is no value in numbers alone.

Not without her.

Today she was screaming and crying in the stairwell and cursing in French.

I would give you the world if I still lived in it.

I saw him and cried.

Thinking about us.

And what you did.

For me.

It isn’t the money that you need.

You know exactly what it is.

Your needs are clear and simple.

And to satisfy them without the influence of greed will take everything and you must be willing.

You only need to understand what it has become.

Let me show you.

If there are five men and two have made bread, another has brought water that’s three the other two brought meat the sixth has money and wasn’t mentioned he tells the one with the water what it’s worth and that he didn’t bring enough to drink himself or for the meat or bread and so he gave him a small sum and watches as he walks away with nothing but the shreds of paper and a few coins.

The man with the bread wants the meat and he is thirsty so he’s looking at the water but is then told that his bread can get him only a morsel of the meat and that the water is in scarce supply so he will have to choose but the walk back to his village is long and he might collapse so he gives away all his bread for half the water from the sixth man who is now speaking to the two with the meat and telling the younger one that his stock is bad and not as fresh so he has no use for that but that the other man can not withstand were he to kill him and take what was his. And so the two men stand before the body of the older man and he asks him if he can make a fire since it’s getting late. The younger one is abel and they burn the body of the older man and the younger man having exhausted all his strength looks up and states “please sir, I know not your name and I care not. My strength has left and now I tire. The water which you have I wish to drink, and with this meat that we can cook I wish to eat with bread.

The sixth man looked upon him smiled and said, “My son.. You know not my name…” “I know not, and I do not care. I’m without my strength and need some water.” “You just killed a man to take his meat to sell to me and now you ask me for this water as your strength has left? Crawl into that fire for you’re a fool and left without any sense and stand before me as good as dead. But first let me share my inventory so that in the next life you might understand.” This water is mine, the bread too, and now the meat but not only that… “this money” he says as he reaches into his pocket to withdraw some coins, “this money…” he states calmly “..is worth nothing.”

“And yet, I came here with nothingmore and stand before you with everything and now too your life in my hands. The bread is worth more that the water when I said it was. The meat more than the bread too then, but with these things I can have them all, only since you would listen to what I would say.” He states as he drops the money to the dirt. You each had a need, and something to offer between all five of you… You could have had a feast and fed your families but you listened to what I said and each left with practically nothing and one of you is dead. The young man having begun to understand what has happened enraged and gathering every last bit of strength he has throws himself at the sixth man and slowly draws his hands around his neck. Breathing deeply he utters between clenched teeth.. “Your name matters not.. and you will burn here in this place and I will take from you everything and build back my strength as your soul departs bound to a place where your suffering has only just begun.”

Eternal pain awaits

Having tasted the water, bread, and cooked meat the young man reaches down for the money that was left in the dirt and all that remains in the sixth man’s pockets. He leaves the remaining items behind, scattered around the lifeless body and heads towards the closest village with a few coins and nothing more.

His thoughts drift to nice things he never had as the sun breaks before the horizon orange and red. He calls forward seven men, and a young girl who caught his eye on the way in.

The mighty duck laughed and pulled himself from the water.

“Witness”

He spoke deeply.

Shaking off,

Pointing.

Come,

and see….

Hear what they have to say…

Then ask yourself,

Are we..

Food….

.to them?!

He roared.
